5 FREE Ways To Treat Your Husband This
Valentines Day
Treat your husband on Valentine’s Day. On Valentine’s Day, you should be on a mission to treat your husband as a royal king. Well, my husband would tell you that should be every day, so this Valentine’s Day, let’s start by shooting for this one special day and see how it overflows. Our husband’s value, worth and how much we love them needs to be reminded often. As well, they should know and feel secure in knowing that you respect and have only eyes for them. Here are 5 FREE ways to treat your husband this Valentine’s day.
5 FREE ways to treat your husband this Valentine’s day
Clear his schedule
Clear his schedule. Either for the evening or the upcoming weekend. Give him a day to just veg or hang out with you and or the family. If your husband is like mine, he never turns off. He goes from the time his feet hit the floor until he heads to bed. He is always on call.
So if your husband has obligations that you can help change for an evening or the weekend, give him the gift of a freed up schedule.
52 Things I Love About You
Take an old deck of cards and write out 52 two things that you love about your husband. One on each card. You can either hole punch them in the corner and tie together or leave loose in the card box. He will love taking time flipping through these cards.
The I Love You cards travel in a briefcase or a suitcase to where he can take them with him. Your husband will be able to look at these often and be reminded why you choose him. What a great way to make him feel appreciated.
Homemade Massage Oil
Who doesn’t love a massage? No one other than you can give your husband the best massage. Plus you have made the massage oil for him. Many of us have essential oils now in our homes because of the benefits they bring. You can use those essential oils to make a free way to treat your husband for Valentine’s day.
This is one of my favorite massage oils to make.
A sensual massage oil blend
10 drops lavender essential oil
20 drops lemon essential oil
2 drops ylang ylang essential oil
½ cup sweet almond oil
I put the massage oil in a glass bottle that I recycled from an old spice jar. You can use coconut oil or olive oil as well. It is just a matter of choice. You can buy oils at Amazon if you don’t have a set at home. This is a great set to start with from Amazon. My friend Britney is a consultant for Young Living and I get most of my oils from Young Living. I love the quality and can use them with confidence.
Love Texts
Schedule out texts to send to your hubby every hour that day. Take time ahead of time and write out some text that tells him why you love him. You can do text that tells one thing or do text that tells a story and he has to wait for the next text to continue reading why you love him.
The closer to time for him to come home, start telling him why you are excited for him to come home. This will make him feel loved and needed at home. You want him to know that home is not complete unless he is there. This is a way to make your husband feel appreciated.
Walk down memory lane
I can’t think of a better way to let your husband know how much you treasure him than to take time and remember how you met, got married and the journey that you are on together. After the kids have gone to bed, lay out a quilt and look at pictures of your past and even watch your wedding video.
You will laugh together and realize how much your love has grown deep over the years. The good times and the trails that you have walked through will come to the reality that you two are deeply in love and blessed.
By letting your husband see you enjoying this time with him, will be a treat for him on this Valentine’s day.
Make a plan before it is too late
Making your husband feel special is a treat that he desires. He wants to know that you respect him and that you want to be with him. Take time before Valentine’s day gets here and make a plan. Don’t wait until the last moment to figure it all out. This should be your #1 plan that you should be making before the kid’s treats or the teacher gifts. He is your valentine. Forever and always.
